A Message from the Library Director

As with any professional organization, personnel matters in the Town are confidential, and as the Library Director, I cannot share any specific details about the departure of any library employee. What I can say is that the conflation of four recent departures from the library staff as a type of protest or evidence of an underlying systemic problem is terribly misinformed. It is also damaging to the reputations of those employees, as it has brought their departures into the realm of public speculation. Read more.
